The hotel is set in a charming old house that holds a unique character, with beautiful décor that combines various themes. The location is convenient for accessing festival activities, and the ambiance provides an enjoyable retreat after a long day.
My room at the rear overlooked the bins, which felt off for the price point of £175 for the night. While the shower had low water pressure, the breakfast experience was simply unacceptable, no pastries, limited coffee options, and everything felt lackluster for a supposed four-star establishment. The menu felt poorly executed, and I ended up getting the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted after asking for something other than filter. the facilities didn’t quite measure up to expectations, leading to a frustrating stay.

We had an amazing time, especially enjoying the beautiful decor and the ultra-comfy huge bed that helped us sleep like babies. The relaxation options, like the lovely pool and cozy TV room, were perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring. Just a heads up, parking was a bit tricky during busy hours, but it didn't take away from our overall fantastic experience! 😊

Great stay, just a few hiccups
Had a nice 3-night stay. The staff was super friendly, especially Karen at the desk, who went above and beyond. The room was clean and comfy, and the location's fab with some great local pubs. Only issue was the dining – food was a bit slow and we missed our jug of water. a solid choice for a getaway!
